Candidates for supervisor of District 5 will debate on Tuesday, October 16th, at St. Mary’s Hospital from 7:00-9:00 p.m. All three candidates will be participating: Incumbent Supervisor Ross Mirkarimi and challengers Rob Anderson and Owen O’Donnell.

Enter the hospital building from Hayes Street, between Shrader and Stanyan Streets, and go to the cafeteria (Lower Level B). There will be free parking in the lot/garage at off Hayes at Stanyan, or in the garage #1 Shrader, corner of Fulton.

The event has been organized by the Buena Vista Neighborhood Association (BVNA) with co-sponsorship by the Haight Ashbury Improvement Assn. (HAIA), Inner Sunset Neighbors Assn. (ISNA), Panhandle Residents Organization-Stanyan/Fulton (PRO-SF) and CVIA. 

Although Supervisor Mirkarimi is the heavy favorite, it is an excellent opportunity to hear alternative viewpoints as each candidate addresses topics of vital interest to our neighborhood and the city. There will be ample time to ask questions and voice concerns. Please join us.
