July 26:  Alvord Lake Gardening Work Party, 9 a.m.-Noon at Haight & Stanyan. Even if you can only work an hour, please join your neighbors in sprucing up this key community green space under the supervision of  Recreation and Park staff.  July 29:  CVIA’s Appeal re AT&T’s CEQA exemption, 4 p.m at City Hall, Board of Supervisors’ Board Chamber.

Aug 9: Kezar Stadium Free Dump Day. Bring your large bulky dump items, or your smallest bag of trash to Kezar on August 9th and the City will take it away for free.
